Sasha

Sasha

Sasha is an adult female German shepherd dog that was pulled from a high kill shelter in California where she was very shutdown. Since arriving and spending time in a foster home for a few weeks to decompress, Sasha is ready to find her forever family.

Sasha is approximately 5 years old and is currently being fostered with other dogs, both big and small. She is more on the passive side and would do great in a home with another more confident dog to help her keep coming out of her shell. She would love a home with someone who is home more than not but does okay for short periods alone when she has another dog there to keep her company.

Sasha would be best suited for a home with older or calm children as she is easily overwhelmed. She has no mean bone in her body and will retreat when she is scared or overwhelmed.

She discovered her love of toys recently and is very content to have a toy to play with and lay around the house or enjoy the backyard. Sasha has enjoyed outings in her foster home to the hardware store and is great on a leash.

Sasha has seen our vet and is up-to-date on her vaccines, dewormed and scheduled for her spay surgery. She is in good health according to our vet.
