Toby

Wow oh wow has this sweet boy had an incredible journey! Toby was rescued by us from an overcrowded CA shelter after a 30 day cruelty hold, When we discovered him he was sitting in the shelter with a severly broken jaw and just a baby of 5 months old. Our hearts told us we could help this strong, resilient boy have his best life so as soon as the cruelty hold was released we got him transported up to Seattle.
After seeing a specialty veterinary dental surgeon, then be referring to The UC Davis speciality dental team, and many pre-op appointments before, Toby underwent major reconstructive surgery with a titanium plate and bone growth hormone. The surgery has been a success, straighteneing his jaw, growing bone to replace the missing piece, allowing him to use his mouth in a more typical dog way. The main nerve in his tongue suffered damage during the original injury so it still goes sideways but that just adds to this guy's incredible charm.
Toby loves everyone and all the dogs. He wants to cuddle and be petted above all else. Loves to play with his toys and go on sniffy walks. He will make an excellent companion. 
He is 50% standard poodle and 50% Golden Reteriever per DNA results.
